atha dīrghasya kālasya kaścid brahma-yatis tadā || tapas tapasyati munau tasmin śailocchaye dhare
ثم بعد زمنٍ طويل ظهر ناسكٌ من أهل البرهمن (brahma-yati)؛ وعلى تلك القمّة الجبلية الشامخة كان ذلك الحكيم يمارس التقشّف (tapas).
