Śiva (Īśvara)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra (Yogeśvarī-sthāna)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Devī (addressed as Deveśi)
Scene: A group of brāhmaṇa kṣetra-vāsins set out on a local pilgrimage circuit carrying waterpots and scriptures; above them Yogeśvarī’s protective aura forms a canopy. Symbols of danger—flames, thieves in shadow, hostile figures, and elephant-headed ‘vighna’ personifications—are shown powerless at the boundary of the sacred space.
Pilgrimage and faithful life in a sacred kṣetra become protected when performed under the deity’s grace; devotion transforms vulnerability into divine guardianship.
Prabhāsa-kṣetra (Prabhāsatīrtha region), within the Prabhāsakṣetra-māhātmya of the Skanda Purāṇa.
Performing yātrā (pilgrimage) and maintaining kṣetra-vāsa (residence in the sacred field) with devotion to Yogeśvarī.
