īśvara uvāca | evaṃ stutastadā saurī rājñā daśarathena ca | maharājaḥ śanirvākyaṃ hṛṣṭaro mā'bravīdidam
Īśvara
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Scene: A storyteller’s frame: Īśvara as narrator in the background (or as a divine presence), while the foreground shows Śani smiling slightly, pleased, turning toward Daśaratha to speak; the moment is poised, expectant.
Sincere praise and devotion can transform fear into grace, even in relation to formidable cosmic powers like Śani.
Prabhāsakṣetra is the overarching sacred geography of the chapter, framing the narrative as part of its māhātmya.
The verse indicates stuti (hymnic praise) as the devotional act leading to divine response.
