īśvara uvāca | sādhu proktaṃ tvayā bhadre prācī sarvatra durlabhā | kurukṣetre puṣkare ca tasmātprābhāsike'dhikā
Īśvara (Śiva)
Tirtha: Prācī at Prabhāsa
Type: kshetra
Listener: Devī
Scene: Īśvara, serene, raises a hand in teaching gesture, affirming Devī’s words and indicating Prabhāsa’s special eminence; behind, three landscape medallions show Kurukṣetra, Puṣkara, and Prabhāsa highlighted brightest around the Prācī stream.
Among famed pilgrimage centers, certain manifestations of sacred power are exceptionally rare—making their presence at Prabhāsa especially venerable.
Prabhāsa-kṣetra, as the place where Prācī becomes ‘adhikā’ (especially eminent).
None; the verse establishes comparative sanctity as a preface to the māhātmya.
