Transliteration

āvāṃ kiṃ kāraṇaṃ rājā nekṣate vaśavartinau | provāca praṇato rājā tato dvāḥsthaṃ puraḥsthitam

«لأيِّ سببٍ لا ينظر الملك إلينا، ونحن مطيعان خاضعان للانقياد؟» ثم إنّ الملك—وقد انحنى إجلالًا—خاطبَ بوّابَ القصر الواقفَ بين يديه.
