भवन्तौ नेच्छति द्रष्टुं राजा दुर्नयकारिणौ । तत्रस्थः पृष्टवान्भूयः प्रतीहारं नरः स्वयम्
bhavantau necchati draṣṭuṃ rājā durnayakāriṇau | tatrasthaḥ pṛṣṭavānbhūyaḥ pratīhāraṃ naraḥ svayam
«إن الملك لا يرغب في رؤيتكما، لأنكما فاعلا سوء السيرة.» فوقف نارا هناك، وسأل حاجب القصر مرةً أخرى بنفسه.
