Transliteration

etadeva tu vijñeyaṃ grahaṇe cottarāyaṇe | saṃkrāṃtidinacchidreṣu ṣaḍaśītimukheṣu ca

Translation

وهذا المبدأُ بعينه ينبغي أن يُعلَم أنه جارٍ عند الكسوف والخسوف، وعند زمن سير الشمس شمالاً (أوتّرايانا)، وفي أيام السَّنكرانتي ومفاصلها الحرجة، وكذلك في اللحظات المباركة المعروفة بـ«الستّ والستّ والثمانين».
