चिरकालं तपस्तप्तं ब्रह्मचर्येण वै मया । नाशं यास्यति तत्सर्वं विषयैर्निर्जितस्य च । तस्माद्गच्छामि चान्यत्र यावन्न विकृतिर्भवेत्

Transliteration

cirakālaṃ tapastaptaṃ brahmacaryeṇa vai mayā | nāśaṃ yāsyati tatsarvaṃ viṣayairnirjitasya ca | tasmādgacchāmi cānyatra yāvanna vikṛtirbhavet

Translation

لقد مارستُ الزهدَ والتقشّفَ زمنًا طويلًا بحفظِ البراهمتشريا. فإن غلبتني موضوعاتُ الحواسّ ضاع ذلك كلّه. لذلك أمضي إلى موضعٍ آخر قبل أن يطرأ اضطرابٌ على الذهن.
