maṃkaṇa uvāca | nūnaṃ bhavānmahādevaḥ sākṣāddṛṣṭaḥ prasīda me | niścitaṃ tvaṃ mayā jñāta etanme hṛdi vartate
Maṃkaṇa
Tirtha: Arbuda
Type: kshetra
Scene: Maṃkaṇa, kneeling, addresses Śiva: ‘You are surely Mahādeva; be gracious to me; I have recognized you—this certainty abides in my heart.’
When divine truth is recognized, the right response is seeking grace (prasāda) with humility rather than clinging to ego-born attainments.
The Arbuda region is implicitly glorified as a locale where Mahādeva becomes directly perceptible to devotees.
No specific ritual is stated; the verse models devotional supplication and inner certainty (niścaya) in God.
