sāmavedāṃgapārajñāstraividyā dharma vittamāḥ | taponiṣṭhā śubhācārāḥ satyavrataparāyaṇāḥ

عرفوا الشاطئ الآخر للسّامافيدا وملحقاتها؛ وكانوا متمكّنين من المعارف الفيدية الثلاث، من خيرة العارفين بالدهرما—ثابتين على التَّبَس (الزهد)، حَسَني السيرة، ملازمين لنذور الصدق.
