sarvavidyāsu niṣṇātā vedavedāṃgapāragāḥ | ṛgvedeṣu ca niṣṇātā yajurvedakṛtaśramāḥ

كانوا متقنين لجميع المعارف، وقد بلغوا الشاطئ الآخر من الفيدات والڤيدانغا؛ ماهرين في الرِّغفيدا، ومتمرّسين بجهدٍ شديد في دراسة اليَجُرفيدا.
