दह्यन्ते विविधास्तत्र वाप्यः कूपाश्च भारत । दृश्यन्तेऽनलदग्धानि पुरोद्यानानि दीर्घिकाः । अम्लानैः पङ्कजैश्छन्ना विस्तीर्णावसुयोजनाः
dahyante vividhāstatra vāpyaḥ kūpāśca bhārata | dṛśyante'naladagdhāni purodyānāni dīrghikāḥ | amlānaiḥ paṅkajaiśchannā vistīrṇāvasuyojanāḥ
يا بهاراتا، كانت هناك خزّاناتٌ وآبارٌ شتّى تشتعل. وكانت تُرى البساتينُ الملكيةُ والبركُ الطويلةُ وقد لَفَحَها الحريق—مكسوّةً بلوتسٍ لا يذبل، ممتدّةً ليوجَناتٍ كثيرة.
