وبماءٍ ممزوجٍ بالسمسم، ليُقدَّم التَّرْبَنَة (tarpaṇa) لآلهة الأسلاف؛ فيرضى بذلك البِتْرُ (Pitṛs). وبإهداء البِنْدَة (piṇḍa) للأجداد ينال المرء ثوابًا يُسمّى «ثمرة بايندارِيكا» (Paiṇḍarīka).
