Procedure for the Earthen Liṅga Worship

मनुना सौजीव इति देवतान्यासमाचरेत् । असौ योवसर्पतीति चाचरेदपसर्पणम्

Transliteration

manunā saujīva iti devatānyāsamācaret | asau yovasarpatīti cācaredapasarpaṇam

Translation

بالمَنترَا التي تبتدئ بـ«سوجِيفا» (كما علّمها مانو)، ينبغي إجراء «ديفاتا-نياسا» بوضع الآلهة على الجسد. ثم بصيغة «أساو يو أفَسَرْبَتي…» يُؤدَّى طقس «أبَسَرْبَنَة» لطرد القوى المُعيقة، لكي تمضي عبادة شيفا بلا عائق.
