Sūta Gosvāmin (narrating to the sages at Naimiṣāraṇya)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Mantra: yāmiṣum… (nyāsa-mantra); adhyavocad… (adhivāsa-mantra)
It teaches that Śiva-worship becomes inwardly effective when mantra is consciously installed (nyāsa) and the rite is performed with premā (devotional love), aligning body, speech, and mind with Śiva’s presence.
Nyāsa and adhivāsa are preparatory rites that sanctify the worshipper and the act of pūjā, making the external worship of Śiva (including Liṅga worship) a focused invocation of Saguna Śiva’s grace.
Perform Śiva-mantra nyāsa using the specified mantra, then do adhivāsa (consecratory invocation) with the next mantra—ideally with steady attention and devotion before beginning the main Śiva-pūjā.
