भरत-गुहसंवादः
Bharata and Guha: Trust, Hospitality, and the Burden of Grief
स तु संहृष्टवदन श्श्रुत्वा भरतभाषितम्।पुनरेवाब्रवीद्वाक्यं भरतं प्रति हर्षितः।।2.85.11।।
sa tu saṅhṛṣṭavadanaḥ śrutvā bharatabhāṣitam |
punar evābravīd vākyaṁ bharataṁ prati harṣitaḥ ||2.85.11||
فلما سمع غُها كلامَ بهاراتا، أشرق وجهُه فرحًا، ثم عاد فتكلم مسرورًا مخاطبًا بهاراتا.
Blessed indeed you are as you desire to renounce the kingdom that has come to you effortlessly. I see none equal to you on this earth.
Dharma is reflected in mutual respect and truthful appreciation; Guha responds with sincere joy to Bharata’s righteous intent.
After Bharata speaks to Guha, Guha becomes pleased and continues the conversation, preparing to praise Bharata’s conduct.
Guha’s goodwill and emotional openness—his joy arises from recognizing virtue in Bharata.
