इन्द्रप्रशंसा, दिव्योपकरणदानं, गन्धमादनसमागमश्च

Indra’s Commendation, Bestowal of Divine Insignia, and the Gandhamādana Reunion

तानहं विविधैर्बाणैवेंगवद्धिरजिदह्ागै: । गाण्डीवमुक्तैरभ्यघ्नमेकैकं दशभिम्मथे,तब मैंने उनमेंसे एक-एकको युद्धमें गाण्डीव धनुषसे छूटे हुए सीधे जानेवाले विविध प्रकारके दस-दस वेगवान्‌ वाणोंद्वारा बींध डाला

tān ahaṃ vividhair bāṇair vegavaddhir ajihāgaiḥ | gāṇḍīvamuktair abhyaghnam ekaikaṃ daśabhir raṇe ||

قال أرجونا: «ثم في خضمّ القتال أصبتُ كلَّ واحدٍ منهم—واحدًا بعد واحد—بعشرِ سهامٍ سريعةٍ من شتّى الأنواع، تمضي مستقيمةً كالأفاعي، أطلقتُها من قوس غانديفا. وهكذا ثقبتُهم حسمًا.»
