ते कृता विमुखा: सर्वे मत्प्रयुक्त: शिलाशितै: । ततो मातलिना तूर्ण हयास्ते सम्प्रचोदिता:,मेरे छोड़े हुए बाण पत्थरपर तेज किये हुए थे। उनकी मार खाकर सभी दानव युद्धभूमिसे भाग चले। तब मातलि उस रथके घोड़ोंको तुरंत ही तीव्र वेगसे हाँका
arjuna uvāca | te kṛtā vimukhāḥ sarve matprayuktaiḥ śilāśitaiḥ | tato mātalinā tūrṇaṃ hayās te sampracoditāḥ ||
قال أرجونا: «لقد كانت السهام التي أطلقتُها—محدَّدةً على الحجر—فجعلتْهم جميعًا ينكصون ويهربون من ساحة القتال. ثم إن ماتَلي أسرع فحثَّ خيلَ تلك المركبة، وساقها بأقصى سرعة.»
