नकुल उवाच राजन् पञज्चालराजस्य सुतेयमसितेक्षणा । श्रान्ता निपतिता भूमौ तामवेक्षस्व भारत,तत्पश्चात् नकुलने कहा--भरतकुलभूषण महाराज! यह श्याम नेत्रवाली पांचालराजकुमारी द्रौपदी थककर धरतीपर गिर पड़ी है, आप आकर इसे देखिये
nakula uvāca rājann pañcālarājasya suteyam asitekṣaṇā | śrāntā nipatitā bhūmau tām avekṣasva bhārata ||
قال ناكولا: «أيها الملك، هذه ابنة ملك بَنجالا، سوداء العينين، نبيلة المقام. لقد أضناها الإعياء فسقطت على الأرض. يا سليل سلالة بهاراتا، تعالَ وانظر إليها».
