The verse highlights steadfastness and preparedness in one’s chosen role—here, the warrior’s stance in battle—while also implying the collective nature of action: a leader’s resolve is strengthened and made effective through disciplined support and orderly positioning of capable allies.
Sanjaya reports to Dhritarashtra that, after speaking, the featured warrior (described as noble, intelligent, and a great archer) takes his position for combat, surrounded by other eminent bowmen—signaling the tightening of battle lines and the readiness for the next clash.
