tasyāpi ca vadhōpāyaṁ vakṣyāmi tava pāṇḍava | pāṇḍunandana! yuddhe duryodhanasyāpi vadhaṁ bhīmasenaḥ kariṣyati | tasya vadhasyōpāyam api ahaṃ tvāṁ vaktum icchāmi || vardhate tumulas tv eṣa śabdaḥ paracamūṃ prati ||
قال فايو: «يا ابن باندو، سأخبرك أيضًا بالوسيلة التي يُمكن بها قتله. يا ابن باندو—في ساحة القتال سيُهلك بهيماسينا دوريودَهَنَة حقًّا، وسأشرح لك الحيلة التي تُنجز بها تلك القتلة. وها هو ذا الآن زئيرٌ عاصفٌ مضطربٌ يرتفع متجهًا نحو جموع العدو.»
श्रीवायुदेव उवाच
The verse frames the fall of Duryodhana as both a destined outcome and a matter of tactical means: even when an end is foreseen, it is achieved through concrete human action and strategy, raising the ethical tension of war where dharma is pursued amid violence.
Vāyudeva addresses a Pāṇḍava, announcing that Bhīma will be the slayer of Duryodhana and promising to explain the method for that killing; simultaneously, the battlefield atmosphere intensifies as a loud, tumultuous sound swells toward the enemy ranks.
