Droṇa’s Conditional Boon: The Plan to Capture Yudhiṣṭhira (द्रोणेन युधिष्ठिरग्रहणोपायः)

भीष्मस्य च वधस्तात द्रोणस्य च महात्मन: । तात! भीष्म तथा महात्मा द्रोणका वध युगके उलट जानेकी-सी बात है। सम्पूर्ण लोकोंको यह घटना मानो मोहमें डालनेवाली है

bhīṣmasya ca vadhas tāta droṇasya ca mahātmanaḥ |

قال فايشَمبايانا: «يا بُنيّ، إن قتلَ بهيشما وقتلَ درونا عظيمِ النفس كأنما هو انقلابُ العالم رأسًا على عقب. إن مثل هذا الحدث يوقع جميع الكائنات في ذهول، لأنه يقلب المألوف من التوقعات بشأن الدارما، وبشأن الحماية، وبشأن سقوط من كان يُظَنّ أنه لا يُقهَر».
