Procedure for Vāstu-worship and Related Rites
समस्तनाडीसंयोगे महामर्मानुजं फलं त्रिशूलं स्वस्तिकं वज्रं महास्वस्तिकसम्पुटौ
samastanāḍīsaṃyoge mahāmarmānujaṃ phalaṃ triśūlaṃ svastikaṃ vajraṃ mahāsvastikasampuṭau

Vidya Category: {"primary_vidya":"Tantra","secondary_vidya":"Ayurveda","practical_application":"Identifying protective marks/yantra-signs and correlating them with nāḍī-confluences and marma-adjacent loci for ritual sealing, body-guarding (kavaca), and diagrammatic protection.","sutra_style":true}
Encyclopedic Reference: {"reference_type":"List","entry_title":"Nāḍī-saṃyoga signs near mahā-marma: phala, triśūla, svastika, vajra, mahā-svastika-sampuṭa","lookup_keywords":["nadi-samyoga","marma","svastika","vajra-chihna","sampuṭa"],"quick_summary":"At key channel junctions near vital marmas, specific protective ‘sign-forms’ are recognized (phala, triśūla, svastika, vajra, mahā-svastika enclosure), useful for yantra/mudrā-based guarding and ritual mapping."}
Weapon Type: Trident (Triśūla), Vajra
Concept: Subtle-body cartography: power and vulnerability concentrate at junctions; symbols/yantras function as cognitive-ritual ‘locks’ (bandhana) over these nodes.
Application: In kavaca/nyāsa, visualize svastika/vajra/triśūla seals at key junctions to stabilize attention and invoke protective resolve.
Khanda Section: Tantra / Yantra / Mudra-Lakshana (Protective diagrams, seals, and weapon-symbol taxonomy)
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: bhayanaka
Visual Art Cues: {"scene_description":"A subtle-body diagram showing nāḍī junctions and a highlighted mahā-marma region; near it appear emblematic seals: fruit-shape, trident, svastika, vajra, and a larger enclosing svastika-sampuṭa.","kerala_mural_prompt":"Kerala mural, stylized human figure with luminous nāḍīs, highlighted marma node, surrounding protective emblems (triśūla, vajra, svastika) in bold iconographic forms, ritual red/ochre palette","tanjore_prompt":"Tanjore painting, central subtle-body figure with gold-outlined nāḍīs, embossed gold symbols of triśūla and vajra, svastika motifs as protective seals, rich jewel tones","mysore_prompt":"Mysore style, clean anatomical-yantric chart, labeled symbols (phala, triśūla, svastika, vajra, sampuṭa), soft washes, instructional clarity","mughal_miniature_prompt":"Mughal miniature, manuscript folio with a diagrammatic figure and marginal symbol studies, fine ink lines, delicate coloration, calligraphic labels for each chihna"}
Audio Atmosphere: {"recitation_mood":"intense","suggested_raga":"Bhairav","pace":"medium","voice_tone":"instructional"}
Sandhi Resolution Notes: समस्तनाडीसंयोगे = समस्त-नाडी-संयोगे (compound).
Related Themes: Agni Purana 93 (yantra/mudra-lakṣaṇa and protective taxonomy)
It catalogs specific technical ‘forms/marks’ (phala, triśūla, svastika, vajra, mahā-svastika-sampuṭa) associated with nāḍī-confluences and a major marma, useful for identifying or constructing protective/ritual configurations (yantra-like sign taxonomy) and for marma–nāḍī mapping.
Alongside theology, the Agni Purana preserves applied technical vocabularies—here blending marma/nāḍī language (Ayurveda-style anatomy) with symbolic weapon-and-auspicious emblems (tantric/ritual diagrammatics), showing its cross-disciplinary cataloging of practical knowledge.
By naming auspicious and protective forms (svastika, vajra, triśūla) in relation to vital junctions, the passage frames correct identification/placement of such signs as a means of safeguarding life-force, averting harm, and supporting ritual purity and protection.
