Pratiṣṭhā-Kalaśa-Śodhana-Ukti (Instruction on Purifying the Consecration Pitcher) — Chapter 85
pañcāśadadhikā ṣaṣṭirbhuvanaistulyasañjñitāḥ tāvanta eva rudrāś ca vijñeyāstatra tadyathā

Concept: Ordered cosmos: worlds are enumerable and correspond to divine powers (Rudras), implying governance of each level by a specific Rudra-form.
Application: For cosmological dhyāna or ritual mapping, pair each bhuvana with a Rudra-name (as the subsequent list would provide) to build a complete mental/ritual cosmogram.

Sandhi Resolution Notes:
Related Themes: Agni Purāṇa: subsequent verses likely listing names of bhuvanas and Rudras (tadyathā...); Agni Purāṇa: other cosmological enumerations (lokas, kalpas, manvantaras) in cosmology sections
It imparts classificatory (saṅkhyā) knowledge used in Purāṇic cosmology and theology: the fixed numerical correspondence between the bhuvanas (world-levels) and the Rudra-forms.
By preserving a precise numerical taxonomy (worlds and deities) that functions like a reference index for cosmography and deity-classifications—one of the Agni Purana’s hallmark encyclopedic features.
Contemplating and correctly knowing cosmic and divine correspondences is presented in Purāṇic tradition as a form of jñāna (sacred knowledge) that supports right understanding of the universe and devotion to Rudra’s manifold forms.
