The Disappearance of the Yadu Dynasty and Lord Kṛṣṇa’s Departure
तमन्वगच्छन् दिव्यानि विष्णुप्रहरणानि च । तेनातिविस्मितात्मानं सूतमाह जनार्दन: ॥ ४५ ॥
tam anvagacchan divyāni viṣṇu-praharaṇāni ca tenāti-vismitātmānaṁ sūtam āha janārdanaḥ
All the divine weapons of Viṣṇu rose up and followed the chariot. The Lord, Janārdana, then spoke to His chariot driver, who was most astonished to see all this.
This verse states that Viṣṇu’s celestial weapons followed Śrī Kṛṣṇa, highlighting His supreme divinity and transcendental opulence even in His final earthly pastimes.
Dāruka became overwhelmed and astonished on seeing the divine weapons accompany the Lord; Kṛṣṇa then addressed him to guide and steady him within the unfolding events of His departure pastime.
Remember that the Lord’s protection and sovereignty are not ordinary; cultivating faith in His supreme control helps a devotee remain steady when facing shocking or uncertain changes.
