Even today, O King, one can see how the Yamunā flows through the many channels created when it was dragged by the unlimitedly powerful Lord Balarāma. Thus she demonstrates His prowess.
It says the Yamunā’s course—drawn toward him—can still be seen, as a lasting sign of Balarāma’s limitless prowess.
While narrating Balarāma’s Vraja pastimes, Śukadeva highlights a visible, enduring landmark to emphasize the historical and sacred nature of the Lord’s līlā and Balarāma’s divine strength.
It encourages faith that the Lord’s presence leaves transformative impact; devotees can remember and honor tīrthas and cultivate humility before divine power rather than relying on ego-driven strength.
