The ladies gave the bride the remnants of the offerings and then blessed her. She in turn bowed down to them and the deity and accepted the remnants as prasādam.
This verse shows the bride receiving gifts and blessings from elder women and responding with respectful obeisances—highlighting humility and auspicious elder blessings as part of dharmic conduct.
As part of proper Vedic etiquette and humility, Rukmiṇī honored the elder ladies who offered blessings and gifts, acknowledging their goodwill and auspicious role in the wedding rites.
Cultivate gratitude and humility—receive guidance and blessings respectfully, and honor those who support you, especially during major life transitions.
