Lord Brahmā informed the demigods: Before we submitted our petition to the Lord, He was already aware of the distress on earth. Consequently, for as long as the Lord moves on earth to diminish its burden by His own potency in the form of time, all of you demigods should appear through plenary portions as sons and grandsons in the family of the Yadus.
As stated in the Brahma-saṁhitā (5.39) :
This verse states that the Lord, through His expansions appearing among the Yadus, personally moves on earth and diminishes her burden by His own power of Time (kāla-śakti) until it is destroyed.
Shukadeva emphasizes divine planning: the Supreme Lord had already ‘undertaken’ the earth’s distress and arranged His manifestations and associates to appear, showing that Krishna’s advent is purposeful and providential, not accidental.
Time steadily removes what is harmful and unsustainable; remembering kāla-śakti helps one practice humility, detach from pride and fear, and align daily life with dharma and devotion rather than temporary power.
