purā devāsure yuddhe nivṛtte somakāraṇāt | pitāmahasya vacanāttārāṃ candraḥ samarpayat

往昔，因苏摩之事，天神与阿修罗之战既已止息；遵从祖父神（梵天）的言命，月神将塔拉（Tārā）归还。
