यस्ययस्यात्ति पक्वान्नमल्पं वा यदि वा बहु । तीर्थगस्तस्य तस्यार्धं स्नातस्य विनियच्छति
yasyayasyātti pakvānnamalpaṃ vā yadi vā bahu | tīrthagastasya tasyārdhaṃ snātasya viniyacchati
凡至圣渡而食熟食者,无论多寡,沐浴之后,当留出一半作为供分(供养之份)。
Skanda (deduced from section context)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa
Type: kshetra
Scene: After a sacred bath, a pilgrim sits with a leaf-plate of cooked rice; he respectfully separates half into another vessel to offer to a brāhmaṇa/poor person near the ghat, with the temple visible in the distance.
Pilgrimage is paired with restraint and sharing; one should not consume at a tīrtha without setting aside a rightful portion.
Prabhāsa-tīrtha is the narrative setting, though the rule is framed as a general tīrtha practice.
After tīrtha-bathing (snāna), one should allocate half of one’s cooked-food share as a due offering/share (implying dāna/portioning).
