सा गृहीत्वा सती भर्तुर्भस्म सर्वं चितेस्तथा । प्रविष्टा सागरं देवि तदा जांबवती शुभा
sā gṛhītvā satī bharturbhasma sarvaṃ citestathā | praviṣṭā sāgaraṃ devi tadā jāṃbavatī śubhā
那位贞善之女拾起夫君的一切骨灰，以及火葬柴堆的灰烬。随后她投入大海，噢女神；当时她化为吉祥的“贾姆巴瓦蒂”河。
