众二生者见到他,又见近旁有林伽,便问道:“噢,毗湿伐羯曼(Viśvakarman),请告知我等:此事何以如此?你为何驻立于此,并率无数工匠随从?”
Brāhmaṇas (Dvipras)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra (liṅga-sannidhi)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Implied Purāṇic audience; within story, brāhmaṇas address Viśvakarman
Scene: Brāhmaṇas stand near a radiant liṅga; before them Viśvakarman appears with innumerable artisans—celestial craftsmen holding tools—while the brāhmaṇas question him with reverent urgency.
Sacred symbols (like the liṅga) are guarded and served through divinely ordered means; dharma includes protection and proper stewardship.
Prabhāsa Kṣetra, shown as a place where a liṅga is present and divinely protected.
No direct prescription; the verse frames inquiry into the purpose of liṅga-rakṣaṇa and ritual-site arrangements.
