自在天说道:“其后,噢大女神,应前往最胜的普罗罗私提耶湿伐罗(Pulastyeśvara)圣所;它位于马尔迦ṇḍेय之北,距五弓(dhanu)之地。”
Īśvara (Śiva)
Tirtha: Pulastyeśvara
Type: temple
Listener: Mahādevī (Pārvatī)
Scene: Īśvara instructs Devī on the next stop: a clear directional cue—‘to the north of Mārkaṇḍeya, five dhanu-lengths’—with the landscape of Prabhāsa and a small shrine ahead.
It frames pilgrimage as guided sacred geography: moving from one sanctified point to another under Śiva’s instruction.
Pulastyeśvara in Prabhāsa Kṣetra, located north of the Mārkaṇḍeya sacred spot.
The instruction is pilgrimage (gacchet—one should go); detailed rites appear in subsequent verses.
