Īśvara (Śiva)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra (Sūrya-rakṣā within abhiṣeka)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A priest pours water from a conch over the Sūrya icon; nearby, bowls of herbal astringent decoctions are used to mark protective lines or sprinkle around, as if guarding a yajña-space.
Sacred implements (like the conch) and mantra-guided actions are means to preserve sanctity and auspiciousness in worship.
Prabhāsa-kṣetra, where detailed, orthodox worship of Sūrya is taught.
Abhiṣeka with conch-poured water using ‘sinīvālī…’, and protective application using ‘yajñaṃ yajñe…’ with kaṣāya (decoctions).
