श्रीविष्णु रुवाच । परितुष्टोस्मि ते दैत्य शौर्येण शिवसंश्रयात् । वरं वरय भद्रं ते यदिच्छसि महामते
śrīviṣṇu ruvāca | parituṣṭosmi te daitya śauryeṇa śivasaṃśrayāt | varaṃ varaya bhadraṃ te yadicchasi mahāmate
圣者毗湿奴说道：“噢，代底耶，我喜悦于你的英勇，因为它依止于对湿婆的归依。请选择一项恩赐——愿其为你带来吉祥——随你所愿，噢大心者。”
