yenārcito mahādevastasya tuṣyati keśavaḥ | anarcite nīlakaṇṭhe na gṛhṇātyarcanaṃ hariḥ | tasmātsarvaprayatnena pūjyatāṃ nīlalohitaḥ
Brahmā (as reported by Prahlāda)
Tirtha: Dvārakā–Prabhāsa region (contextual)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Brahmā’s sons (Brahmaputrāḥ)
Scene: A teacher declares that Kṛṣṇa’s worship is accepted when Śiva is worshipped; visualized as Hari and Hara in harmonious presence—Viṣṇu serene, Śiva blue-throated—devotees offering bilva and tulasī together.
The Purāṇa teaches theological harmony: honoring Śiva is presented as essential for the completeness and acceptance of worship to Hari/Keśava.
Dvārakā’s Māhātmya context frames this as a local dharma-teaching connected to sacred worship in the Dvārakā setting.
Arcana/pūjā of Mahādeva (Nīlakaṇṭha/Nīlalohita) is explicitly prescribed as a necessary practice.
