विना श्राद्धेन विप्रेन्द्रा दानेन पितृतर्पणात् । भक्तितः स्नानमात्रेण पितृभिः सह मुच्यते
vinā śrāddhena viprendrā dānena pitṛtarpaṇāt | bhaktitaḥ snānamātreṇa pitṛbhiḥ saha mucyate
噢，婆罗门中的最胜者！即使不行施罗陀（śrāddha），不作布施，不向祖灵行供水祭（tarpaṇa），但凭虔敬之心，仅以沐浴一事，亦能与其祖先同得解脱。
