त्वया दृष्टं मनोहारि शुभं पंकजकाननम् । तत्र स्नात्वा पयः पीत्वा पितृदेवाः प्रतर्पिताः
tvayā dṛṣṭaṃ manohāri śubhaṃ paṃkajakānanam | tatra snātvā payaḥ pītvā pitṛdevāḥ pratarpitāḥ
在那里,你见到一片悦人而吉祥的莲花林。你在彼处沐浴并饮其水,又行“塔尔帕那”供养,使祖灵(Pitṛ)与诸天神得以满足。
Vasiṣṭha
Tirtha: Padma-kānana tīrtha (as described)
Type: kund
Listener: A king addressed as 'pārthiva-sattama' (best of kings)
Scene: A serene lotus-grove around a clear pond; the pilgrim bathes, sips water, then offers libations to ancestors and gods under flowering lotuses and soft light.
Sacred waters support both personal purification and gratitude toward ancestors and gods through tarpaṇa, generating puṇya.
An auspicious lotus-grove and its waters are praised, though the tīrtha is not named in this verse; it belongs to the Arbuda sacred landscape.
Snāna (ritual bathing) and tarpaṇa (libations/refreshment offerings) to the Pitṛs and Devas are explicitly indicated.
