Sūta (continued narration)
Type: kshetra
Listener: द्विजोत्तमाः (addressed to best of brāhmaṇas)
Scene: A full-moon night ritual: a devotee performs formal worship—first before Brahmā (four-faced, lotus seat), then before Puruṣottama (Viṣṇu with śaṅkha-cakra), with lamps, flowers, and a tīrtha backdrop.
Purāṇic tīrtha-dharma integrates precise calendrical timing with ordered worship, harmonizing multiple deities within one sacred program.
Brahmakuṇḍa (context), especially its Kārtika Pūrṇimā rites under Kṛttikā conjunction.
On Kārtika Pūrṇimā with Kṛttikā-yoga, worship Brahmā (Padmaja) first, then worship Puruṣottama (Viṣṇu), following due procedure.
