याज्ञवल्क्य उवाच । तथापि देव मे शुद्धिर्हृदयस्य न जायते । तस्माद्वद सुरश्रेष्ठ प्रायश्चित्तं विशुद्धये
yājñavalkya uvāca | tathāpi deva me śuddhirhṛdayasya na jāyate | tasmādvada suraśreṣṭha prāyaścittaṃ viśuddhaye
阎若婆迦说道：“即便如此，噢天神，我心中的清净仍未生起。因此，噢诸神之最胜者，请为我宣说能令彻底净化的忏悔法（prāyaścitta）。”
