न विद्यया केवलया तपसा वापि पात्रता । यत्र वृत्तिमिमे चोभे तद्वि पात्रं प्रचक्षते
na vidyayā kevalayā tapasā vāpi pātratā | yatra vṛttimime cobhe tadvi pātraṃ pracakṣate
堪受布施之资格，并非唯由学识而生，亦非唯由苦行而成。唯有在其身上正行与诸德并具者，方称为真正的受施之器（pātra）。
