Transliteration

yadi tānbhoḥ praśaṃsāmi svīyānstautīti vācyatā | niṃdāmyanarhānkasmādvā kaṣṭamevobhayatra ca

Translation

若我赞颂他们，人们会说：“他是在称扬自己的人。”若我责难那些本不该受责的人，我又何必如此？两边都只会徒增为难。
