他们听闻了隐秘圣域(Guptakṣetra)的伟大功德,以及大地与海洋相会之处的汇合圣地。在那里沐浴之后,他们便循着这条道路前往普拉婆娑。
Sūta (Lomaharṣaṇa) narrating to the sages (deduced from Māheśvara-khaṇḍa style)
Tirtha: Guptakṣetra; Māhī-sāgara-saṅgama (land–ocean confluence)
Type: sangam
Scene: Pilgrims arrive at a ‘hidden’ sacred spot near the shoreline where the vast ocean meets the land; they bathe at the sangam and continue toward Prabhāsa along the coast.
Pilgrimage is strengthened by śraddhā and purification—hearing a tīrtha’s glory and bathing there prepares one for higher holy destinations.
Guptakṣetra and the mahī–sāgara saṅgama (land–ocean confluence), with the journey oriented toward Prabhāsa.
Snāna (ritual bathing) at the confluence prior to continuing the pilgrimage.
