brahmāditṛṇaparyaṃtaṃ tenedaṃ tarpitaṃ jagat | paṃcāmṛtena talliṃgaṃ snāpayedyaśca buddhimān
自梵天乃至一茎草叶,此一切世界皆因其而得满足。智者以五甘露(pañcāmṛta)沐浴彼湿婆林伽,遂成为令宇宙普遍安抚之因。
Lomaharṣaṇa Sūta (deduced: Māheśvarakhaṇḍa narrative frame)
Type: temple
Listener: Devas/Ṛṣis (contextual)
Scene: A wise devotee performs pañcāmṛta abhiṣeka: white milk, creamy curd, golden ghee, amber honey, crystalline sugar flow over the liṅga; the cosmos—Brahmā, devas, animals, plants—appears subtly ‘satisfied’ in the background as a symbolic tableau.
Service to the Śiva-liṅga is portrayed as service that nourishes and satisfies the entire cosmos.
No single tīrtha is named in this verse; the focus is on liṅga-abhiṣeka as a universally meritorious act.
Bathing (abhiṣeka) of the Śiva-liṅga with pañcāmṛta (the five nectars).
