naivāhaṃ kuṭilā śarva viṣamā na ca dhūrjaṭe | svadoṣaistvaṃ gataḥ kṣāṃtiṃ tathā doṣākaraśriyaḥ
Girijā (Pārvatī)
Scene: Pārvatī stands firm, denying fault; her posture upright, chin lifted; Śiva (Dhūrjaṭi) with jaṭā and calm gaze; the contrast between her sharp expression and his composed stillness is central.
Fault-finding often rebounds on the critic; dharma advises self-examination before accusing others.
No holy place is mentioned in this verse.
