dhanāyuryauvanaṃ bhogāñjalacaṃdravadasthirān | buddhyā samyakparāmṛśya sthāṇudānaṃ samāśrayet
财富、寿命、青春与享乐皆不稳固,如水中月影。以智慧善加省察,当依止布施,向斯塔努(湿婆)行施。
Sārasvata (continued from previous verse)
Scene: A contemplative donor stands near a still pond where the moon’s reflection trembles; behind, a serene Śiva (Sthāṇu) with Nandin receives the offering as the donor turns away from symbols of wealth and youth.
Seeing worldly assets as fleeting, one should redirect effort into lasting merit through devotion expressed as giving to Śiva (Sthāṇu).
No specific tīrtha is named; the focus is on the devotional act of Śiva-oriented charity.
Sthāṇudāna—offering charity dedicated to Sthāṇu (Śiva)—is recommended.
