अनर्हते यद्ददाति न ददाति तथार्हते । अर्हानर्हपरिज्ञानाद्दानधर्मो हि दुष्करः

Transliteration

anarhate yaddadāti na dadāti tathārhate | arhānarhaparijñānāddānadharmo hi duṣkaraḥ

Translation

若人施与不堪受者而不施与堪受者——因为分辨堪受与不堪受实为不易——则布施之法（达摩）确实难以圆满。
