Type: kshetra
Scene: A continuous procession through Kāśī lanes: five shrine doorways appear in sequence, each with a distinct emblem—Triviṣṭapa with celestial motifs, Kṛttivāsa with tiger-skin iconography, Ratneśa with jewel imagery, Candraśa with moon crest, Kedāra with Himalayan association—while the pilgrim offers water and bilva at each stop.
Kāśī’s merit is accessed through an ordered circuit of liṅga-darśana, treating the city as a living mandala of Śiva.
A sequence of Kāśī Śiva-shrines: Triviṣṭapa Mahādeva, Kṛttivāsa, Ratneśa, Candreśa, and Kedāra.
