vidherapi manojñātaṃ śaṃbhorapi manogatam | samyakcittaṃ tvayā jñātaṃ namastubhyaṃ cidātmane
Agastya
Tirtha: Avimukta-Kāśī
Type: kshetra
Listener: Skanda (addressed)
Scene: Agastya praises Skanda (or the divine teacher) as one who knows even Vidhātṛ’s and Śambhu’s inner intentions, then bows to him as the embodiment of pure consciousness—an austere, luminous moment.
It extols divine omniscience and identifies the highest divinity with consciousness itself (cit).
The praise occurs within the Kāśī Māhātmya narrative setting; no specific tīrtha is singled out in this verse.
A direct act of worship is present: namas (salutation) as verbal and mental homage.
