Skanda
Tirtha: Chāgeśvarī (Chāgavaktreśvarī)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A devotee couple/family or solitary pilgrim with travel bundle stands before Chāgeśvarī on Mahāṣṭamī night, offering lamps and red flowers; behind them, the lanes of Kāśī and a glimpse of the Gaṅgā, symbolizing ‘kāśī-vāsa’ granted by grace.
Even access to sacred residence in Kāśī is framed as Devī’s grace, cultivated through timely worship and devotion.
Kāśī itself, with special emphasis on devotion to Chāgeśvarī as a kṣetra-associated Devī.
